Biohacking to Improve Everyone's Health

Biohacking to Improve Everyone's health is a team that has entered the XPrize - Healthspan competition.

The team was created by the Team leader to enable him to test out his hypothesis that failures of protein creation either through translation or transcription difficulties lie behind much of the phenotypes of age based diseases. However, biohackers who wish to participate with a view to testing other hypotheses are welcome as part of the team.

The concept behind the creation of the team is to enable the participation of individual biohackers who do not have access to substantial finance. However, it must be noted that the XPrize organisation are setting the protocols for the way teams operate and although this team may be willing to allow the participation of individuals using any one protocol, the contest may decide not to permit this.

At the moment there are quite a few things that have not been defined by the contest organisers and hence the team is not in a position to be very clear to people who are interested in participating what the conditions are.
We are using a google group to keep people in touch with developments. The group is called biohacking-team@googlegroups.com. To subscribe send an email to biohacking-team+subscribe@googlegroups.com or Click this link.
